Lunch Time Arrangements
A self service cafeteria system operates during lunchtime. Students can buy a variety of dishes, including salads and sandwiches at midday. They may also bring a packed lunch.
Free school meals are available for those students whose parents are eligible to make a claim to the Education Welfare Service:

The school is concerned about a healthy life style and students are encouraged to relate the lesson in PHSE, PE, technology and science to their daily eating habits.
Parents are required to complete a form to show whether the student will be taking a school lunch or will be going home and be their responsibility over the lunchtime period. Any change to these arrangements must be notified immediately to the Progression Leader. Students who stay for school dinner must remain on the premises, unless they have permission to leave from a member of staff.
Students who do not stay for a school meal are the responsibility of their parents during lunchtime. They are expected, however, to return to school for 1.05pm.
