School Policies
Essential Equipment
- a pen and spare pen
- at least one pencil and sharpener
- rubber and 30cm ruler
- pencil crayons (felt-tipped pens are not as suitable)
- protractor and set square
- a pair of compasses
- a calculator for maths and science
All these items should be marked with the student's name (where possible) and held in a suitable container in their school bag.
Regular checks will be made to ensure that students present themselves for lessons fully equipped.
School Bags
Students are expected to be responsible for their belongings. A bag or case is required to carry pens, pencils, homework, library books, text books and other equipment.
All school books and equipment issued should be carefully looked after. It will be necessary to charge for any loss or damage. High standards of presentation are expected.
Graffiti of any sort is not allowed on books or equipment and bags must not be left unattended at any time.
Marking of Students' Property
All property (PE kit, aprons, clothing and shoes removed for games, outdoor clothing and school bags, etc) must be indelibly marked with the owner's name.
