Special Educational Needs
Children identified as having Special Educational Needs are educated, where possible, within the ordinary classroom and are treated individually according to their need. Identified children receive additional teacher support wherever possible, as well as support from teaching assistants who support Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
In accordance with the Special Needs Code of Practice, parents are always fully informed at each stage of the assessment procedure and are invited to discuss their child's progress and any necessary intervention.
