General Information
Physical Education
In a caring environment we provide students with a broad and balanced curriculum which is enjoyable, yet challenging and gives them a sense of achievement.
All students are given equal opportunity to develop not only physically, but also socially and emotionally, to acquire skill, confidence, tolerance and an appreciation of their own and others' strengths and weaknesses.
We hope that each child on leaving school in Year 11 will have achieved:
- the ability to participate in and enjoy a range of activities
- appreciation of the importance of physical activities and fitness
- the awareness necessary to be sympathetic towards the needs of others in a social and sporting context
Students have the opportunity to represent the school in all sports played. The school has an excellent reputation for regional and national success in competitions.
