General Information

Hope High school is involved in the Government's Excellence in Cities Initiative.

The school has three learning mentors, as well as a Gifted and Talented Coordinator who work with the Deputy Headteacher to provide for the needs of children in the school.

A variety of activities are organised regularly, to extend the learning of the students involved in these programmes. A Gifted and Talented Summer School has been held over a number of years, during the holidays, for those students identified in the top 10% of the ability range. These events are usually hosted either by the school or by Salford University.
