All of us at the school hope that you will enjoy visiting our website and that it will give you a feeling of how vibrant and exciting our school has become over the last two years. Equally, our plans to become a centre of excellence as a specialist Media and ICT school link naturally with the process started in January 2007 for Hope to become an Academy with outstanding world class facilities on Salford Quays.

Recently we have spent an enormous amount of time and financial resources in upgrading our facilities to develop a 21stCentury educational environment for all our young people in a school that is specialising in Media and ICT.

- A Drama and Music Suite

- A new Technology ICT Suite with CADCAM enabled PCs.

- A new Food Technology Room

- A pioneering Teaching and Learning Observation Classroom

- Healthy Schools Initiative Menu

- Interactive Whiteboard Technology in every classroom.

- A Learn to Learn Room with ‘state of the art’ Apple Mac PCs.

- Three suited upgraded ICT Rooms with Media enabled PCs.

- Learning Support Classroom with access to ‘ Tablet’ PCs.

- Upgraded wall displays on corridors

- Plasma Screens and Digital Signage across the school.

In addition the school will benefit from major external partnerships with Salford University Arts and Media Department , BBC Learning links , MediaCity and Salford LA.
